Diploma in Library & Information Services – Calling Applications for New Entrants – 2022/2023 NEW

The University of Peradeniya will entertain applications from candidates who have met the minimum eligibility criteria for registration for Diploma in Library and Information Services offered in Sinhala, Tamil, and English media. Duly filled applications should be sent on or before 21/07/2023(Extended)

The applicant should have at least:

1. Passed all three subjects in the G.C.E (A/L) examination, or
2. Completion of NVQF Level 4 / SLQF Level 2, or
3. A foundation course in the field of Library and Information Services equivalent to SLQF level 2 with a minimum of 12 years of schooling, or
4. 4-year work experience in the field of Library and Information Services with a minimum of 12 years of schooling
   NB: Applicants should have a credit pass or above in the G.C.E. (O/L) for the language of instruction which they want to follow the course if it is not their mother language

• One Year (Two Semesters)
• Lecture Medium: Sinhala, Tamil, and English
• Credits: 30
• Course Fee: Rs. 35,000.00
