President Scholarships for GCE O/L 2022 Students

Calling for applications for scholarships awarded by the President’s Fund to study G.C.E (A/L)
His Excellency the President has decided to award scholarships to students with financial difficulties, having appeared for the first time in the G.C.E. (O/L) examination held in the year 2022 (2023) and having passed the examination and going to appear in the G.C.E. (A/L) examination in the year 2025. Applications are calling from students who fulfilled the following qualifications as per the selection criteria

Eligibility for Apply;

The monthly income of the applicant’s family should not exceed Rs.100,000/-.
Should be a student studying in a government school or a non-paying private school.
The applicant should have appeared for the first time in the G.C.E. (O/L) examination conducted in the year 2022 (2023) and be fully qualified to study G.C.E. (A/L) in the year 2025.
The number of scholarships allocated for one education zone is 50 no’s, and the selected students will receive Rs.6,000.00 per month and offered for a maximum period of 24 months until appearing for the G.C.E. (A/L).The fully completed applications should be handed over to the principal on or before 22.12.2023 as per the instructions given.
