Bsc Food Quality Management (External) Degree 2021: Wayamba University

Faculty of Livestock, Fisheries & Nutrition of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka offers a Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Quality Management (External) jointly with Sri Lanka Standards Institute (SLSI), Colombo 08.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The BSc in Food Quality Management degree program has been designed for those who are employed in food industry or entrepreneurs of food business or any one of the following qualifications.

1. Pass in GCE (A/L) examination in either Science stream or Technology stream from one sitting
And
Minimum of two (02) years post qualifying experience in food industry
Or
Higher National Diploma in Food Technology
Or
Diploma in Quality Management / Diploma in Food Quality Management and at least
two (02) years post qualifying experiences in food industry.

2. Qualifications other than stated in 1 above or recommended by the Board of Study and acceptable to the Senate of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka.

DURATION: Three (03) academic years (2021-2024).

MODE & MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION: Medium of instruction will be English and distance mode of education will be used in instructing the students. Printed learning materials will also be provided.

COURSE FEE: Rs. 480,000/-for the 03-year program (Rs. 50,000 to be paid at the registration and balance in 05 installments).
