Centre for External Degrees and Extension Courses (CEDEC), Eastern University, Sri Lanka is calling for applications for Diploma in Information and Communication Technology. This programme is designed to provide knowledge and skills in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). This will be useful for individuals aspiring to pursue a career in ICT and also for employees in both government and private sectors seeking to enhance their ICT knowledge and skills.

Entry Requirements:
i. A minimum of three (03) passes from the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination in any stream, or
ii. Any other equivalent qualification acceptable to the Senate upon the recommendation
of the Board of Studies
And

iii. A pass grade in the prescribed selection test when applicable.

• Medium of Instruction: Tamil/English
• Programme Duration: 1 year (Weekends)
• Programme Delivery: Hybrid (Both physical and virtual sessions)
• Application Fee: Rs. 1,000.00
• Course Fee: Rs. 80,000.00 (1st instalment: Rs. 60,000.00, 2nd instalment: Rs. 20,000.00)

Application Procedure:
A candidate should apply online from the website of http://www.cedec.esn.ac.lk/dict and upload the scanned copies of relevant documents and a University Copy of the Paying-in-Voucher, amount of Rs.1,000.00 payable to the Bursar,
EUSL, Account No. 227-1-001-9-0000-390 in People’s Bank, Chenkalady.
