Sabaragamuwa University Physical Education Aptitude Test 2022

To be eligible for admission to the above-mentioned degree programmes, candidates should have obtained at least ‘S’ grades in any three subjects at the G.C.E.(A/L) Examination (Please refer to the University Admissions Handbook 21/22).

The closing date for the online application submission is 19.09.2022

The Aptitude Test will only be conducted in English Medium.

At the Aptitude Test;

A total of 40% will be given to the Theory Paper and there will be separate papers for each programme. each paper test, knowledge related to the fields of Sport Sciences & Management and Physical Education separately via one and a half hour (1.5 hrs) written tests.

Another 30% will be given for the Practical Test. Practical Test components are: 35 m Sprint, 5×10 m Shuttle run, 1000 m Aerobic run, Standing Broad Jump, Push-ups (Nature of the Push-ups test is same for both male and female candidates) and Sit and Reach Test.
The candidate should produce a valid medical certificate obtained from a licensed medical practitioner before starting the said test.

The remaining 30% marks will be given for the candidate’s achievements in International, National, Provincial and school-level performances of sports.
