The Ministry of Education has announced that all government schools will be closed on Friday, 20th September 2024, in light of the upcoming Presidential Election. This closure aims to facilitate the smooth conduct of the election process.
Additionally, schools that are being designated as polling stations or vote-counting centers will remain closed from 18th September to 24th September. The Ministry has informed the public that these schools will be used for election-related activities during this period.

இதனையடுத்து, அனைத்து பாடசாலைகளும் வழமை போன்று எதிர்வரும் 23 ஆம் திகதி மீண்டும் ஆரம்பிக்கப்படும் என அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இந்நிலையில், வாக்கெடுப்பு நிலையங்களாக பயன்படுத்தப்படவுள்ள பாடசாலைகள் அனைத்தும் எதிர்வரும் 18 ஆம் திகதி பாடசாலை முடிவடையும் நேரத்திற்கு பின்னர் கிராம அலுவலர்களிடம் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட வேண்டும் எனவும் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
