Recruitment for the Posts of Project Coordinator and Project Assistant for the ‘Gamata Sannivedanaya Project’ implemented under the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka

Applications are invited from eligible Sri Lankan Citizens for the posts of Project Coordinator and Project Assistant for the ‘Gamata Sannivedanaya Project’ implemented under the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka.

1) Eligibility for Recruitment: –

1.1 Project Coordinator

Educational/ Professional Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferably in the Commerce, Business Management, Statistics, Law, Science, Economics, Project Management, Human Resource Management, or related field from any University recognized by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka

Equivalent Qualification to a degree in the above field recognized by the University Grant Commission of Sri Lanka

Chartered membership (Associate) or similar professional qualification obtained from a recognized professional institution relevant to the above field.

1.2 Project Assistant

Educational / Professional Qualifications

Should have passed G.C.E (Ordinary Level) Examination in six (06) subjects in one sitting with Credit Passes for Sinhala/Tamil, Mathematics and English Language

And

Having passed three subjects (Other than General Paper) at the G.C.E (A/L) examination

2. Preference will be given to candidates possessing following skills the following skills and experiences

1. Well conversant in English and Sinhala/ Tamil languages.

2. Excellent Communication Skills

3. Coordinating skills

4. Presentation skills

5. High level of computer literacy

6. Experience in the relevant field

3. Age Limit:

Not more than 45 years on the date of closing of application.

4. Salary Scale:

Salaries will be paid in accordance with the Management services Circular No. 01/2019.

Project Coordinator – Rs. 55,000 / –

Project Assistant – Rs.28,940 / – + Rs.28,940 x 50% = Rs.43,410 / –

In addition, allowances will be paid as mentioned in the circular.

5. Service Conditions:

Recruitment will be through a structured interview and appointments will be made based on the marks obtained for the structured interview. Appointment on a contract basis for a period of 1 year initially.

6. Other Benefits:

Contributions are made to the Employees Provident Fund and the Employees Trust Fund.

7. Mode of Applications: –

Further, the application should be prepared and submitted as per Form 1. Candidates from Government Departments, Public Corporations, Boards, and Authorities should submit their applications for the above posts through their respective heads of Departments / Institutions with their consent to be temporarily released of their current permanent post. Pdf copies of the relevant certificates should also be attached, and applications submitted without copies of certificates will be rejected. Originals of all these documents should be submitted at the interview.

The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka reserves the right to decide on the number of positions to be filled or postponed/canceled the recruitment. Any form of canvassing will be treated as a disqualification.
